DESCRIPTION: \n This day will mark the Earth Day festivities in Ormond Beach at the Environmental Discovery Center. Halifax River Audubon will be on hand at this event to share bird knowledge under our familiar tent from 10am until 2pm. Come and say hello! \n Joan Tague will lead an easy bird walk through Central Park beginning at 8am in advance of the official activities. Explore the groomed trails in the park looking for early avian migrants. Pace is very casual. Binoculars are highly recommended. All levels of expertise are welcome, from beginners to "experts". Walks are scheduled on Wednesdays in March. Check here or on MeetUp for any changes to the schedule. Hosted by the Ormond Beach Environmental Discovery Center and Halifax River Audubon. \n Meet in the parking lot of the Ormond Beach Environmental Discovery Center on Division Avenue. Again, please bring binoculars if you have them. \n Photo: Great-crested Flycatcher by Holly Williamson Audubon Photography Awards
