DESCRIPTION: \n Things have changed and it's worth looking again. Shorebirds and ducks have increased. \n Our target destination is the Merrit Island National Wildlife Refuge. We will meet and check in to caravan at the location listed below. Joan Tague will be the leader for the day. Be ready for a day of exploration. Radios will be available for communication purposes. It is recommended that you carry the radio at all times both in and out of the car. The leaders will use the radios to point out the birds. The trip will be a leaders choice and will likely include Blackpoint Wildlife Drive and maybe other locations. We will go where the birds lead us. Be prepared for a longer walk or two if we decide to explore areas not open to automobiles. Wear comfortable shoes and pack all of the essentials - snacks, hat, bug spray. Pack a lunch for a break at the Visitor Center
