	DESCRIPTION:   \n \n   \n Backwater and Piney Woods Past Gate B12 \n \n Gate B12 is on the south side of Walter Boardman Road just west of Bulow Creek. It is one of the entrances to the Bulow Creek Trail. The habitat includes pine flat woods, mixed forest and open marsh and creek views. \n Prepare for a trail walk - sturdy shoes, sun screen, bug spray, hat, optics, camera, snacks if needed. Monitor conditions. There may be some wet and muddy spots after rains. \n Parking is along the road. There is pull-off space available. We will meet at the gate. No entrance fee is required. We will proceed south from this point on the trail. \n   \n This outing is part of the programming offered to Regrow the Loop and is open to the public. We will also be participating in the Bird Blitz counting all birds that we see as part of a census of 3 areas in the Tomoka Basin.
