Cici and Hyatt Brown

Museum of Art

For this special evening, we will be celebrating our first 100 years in this stunning venue that celebrates the art and artists of Florida. Our speaker for the evening will be Clay Henderson, well-known for his work on behalf of conservation in our area. He has recently published Forces of Nature: A History of Florida Land Conservation. His talk for this evening will focus on the travels and career of John James Audubon.

The museum will be open for touring. The collection features many works depicting natural Florida as the European settlers discovered. This will be a perfect backdrop for the evening as we explore the history of our chapter, from it's inception as a scholarly bird club, it's inclusion in the National Audubon Society, through it's activities in the community and advocacy for birds and the environment. In addition, an exclusive preview of a future museum event will be presented. You won't want to miss this!

Refreshments will be served, including a great array of appetizers and light refreshments. Beer and wine are available at the cash bar.

Purchase your tickets by clicking the secure link below. Your receipt from the transaction will confirm your seats for the evening. Seating is limited, so reserve early!
