This is an overnight trip to Gainesville to some of the most popular natural locations in the area. Moving out of the Peninsula gives us an opportunity to see some different species of birds and wildlife.
Participants will visit Paynes Prarie, Sweetwater Wetlands, and have a behind the scenes tour of the avian collection at the Museum of Natural History. In addition we will witness the mass fly out of thousands of bats from the University bat houses. Be prepared for hiking and weather conditions.
Deadline for this trip is October 15th.
