Join Joan Tague for walk around the refuge impoundments and along the wooded trails. We will be searching for migrants at the height of the season.
This outing is all walking at a leisurely pace.
Meet at the Visitor Center/Office parking to assemble and search for Red-headed Woodpeckers and then move to the refuge parking lots.
Pack water and snacks and possibly lunch if the day proves successful and the outing is extended past the scheduled time. Bring hat, bug spray, sunscreen and proper footwear.
